Special Containment Procedures: SCP-2012-GR instances are to be stored in a sealed cylindrical case in Site 77. Under no circumstances are individuals permitted to touch SCP-2012-GR instances directly without proper hand wear.

Description: SCP-2012-GR refers to 3 gold coins of Greek origin. Forged on the island Zakynthos during the 8th Century B.C, each coin on one side feature a Swastika (then seen as a symbol of good fortune) and the other a depiction of a Lion, specifically the Nemean Lion present in the Labors of Heracles (representing wealth and power). 

SCP-2012-GR in the possession of Adolf Hitler


Lore provided by Grimms have revealed that SCP-2012-GR has been found in the possession of many infamous leaders/rulers in human history, including but not limited to: Alexander the Great, Julius Ceaser, Caligula, Nero and Adolf Hitler. Over the ages, a dangerous amount of arsenic and mercury have accumulated upon the surface of each coin, causing the respective wielder to be poisoned upon touch. Despite this, the owner does not feel the usual effects of poisoning, instead feeling immense urges for control and power upon contact with the skin, alongside the habit of carrying the coins around wherever they go. This effect causes the user to become significantly more charismatic than they normally would be, seeking to rally people under themselves for personal goals. Long term possession of SCP-2012-GR has however shown that this effect consistently leads to the user's demise, usually by paranoia, hysteria and overall degradation of mental health. Their history and effects have led them to become infamous in underground social spheres globally, causing many to hunt down and go to extreme lengths to obtain them, particularly various Wesen groups. 

Continued collaboration and communication with Grimms and Hadrian's Wall have proven helpful in maintaining current containment procedures and deterring detection from Wesen groups globally.
